Better Future for the Social Economy
BFSE is a learning network among 7 Managing Authorities of the European Social Fund (ESF). Its members are Poland (leader), Flanders, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Lombardy, Finland and the curiously named England & Gibraltar.
It is working to improve the contribution that the social economy can make to the objectives of the ESF. It is focusing on five themes:
- Community law and social services of general interest - state aid & public procurement
- Measuring social added value and quality standards - including SROI & social accounting
- Socially responsible public procurement and public-social partnership (PSPP)
- Social franchising
- Financial instruments and mechanisms of fund allocation to social economy
