Jamie Oliver started a restaurant in London called Fifteen after the number of trainee chefs. The restaurant featured in the television programme of that name and also led to the birth of the Fifteen Foundation.

Restaurants have since been set up in Amsterdam and St Ives, Cornwall. There are plans in other countries.

As of May 2012, 340 chefs had passed through the Fifteen restaurants and one at least has earned a Michelin star.<ref>Tim Adams, Guardian Weekly, 11 May 12</ref>
