Description

The self-diagnostic tool is designed to enable people to identify the strengths and weaknesses in their personal profile (skills, knowledge, training, motivation, characteristics, circumstances etc) and encourage them to seek the relevant professional help to start their project.

Justification/aim

Particularly when working with people who are disadvantaged on the labour market, it is very important that they undergo a self-analysis of their motivations and check their expectations against the reality of creating or taking over a business. The self-diagnosis tool can build their confidence by thinking about their strengths. It is equally important that they are made aware of upcoming difficulties, whether linked to their profile or circumstances and start thinking about how they might overcome them. The tool can guide people in identifying areas where they will need help or support.
