The 'United Nations Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD) held a workshop on Social and Solidarity Finance: Tensions, Opportunities and Transformative Potential on 11-12 May 2015 in Geneva, organized in partnership with the ILO and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung.

The rich body of speaker’s workshop contributions are now online at http://www.unrisd.org/ssf-workshop.

Also available is a sentence recognizing the role of social and solidarity finance that experts wish to be added to the Outcome Document of the Third International Conference on Financing for Development (Addis Ababa, 13-16 July). That sentence received the support of the UN Inter-Agency Task Force on Social and Solidarity Economy (TFSSE) and of the secretariat of the International Leading Group on Social and Solidarity Economy.

More outputs are forthcoming: we are preparing a short video and an event brief.

UNRISD has now become an honorary members of the Global Social Economy Forum (GSEF). The next GSEF conference will be held in Montreal, 7-9 September 2016. Stay tuned: http://www.gsef2016.org/.
